I saw this growing on the vine the other day. Today it had turned yellow and was coming off the vine. I don't think it was ripe. It is small, only the size of a large grape or a really big acorn. I have never had one on the vine before so I was rather intriqued. When I cut it open, it doesn't smell like you would want to eat it, so I don't plan on trying it!
